What began as raw jungle is becoming the land—and the life—I once only dreamed of.

Jungle Lux Escape is a developing off-grid homestead built around freedom, creativity and a deeper connection to nature. Every trail, garden and guest space has been shaped one project at a time as I work toward greater self-sustainability and bring this vision to life.

Just beyond the pavement, a short drive along country gravel roads leads you deeper into the jungle and onto the property—tucked away from neighboring homes and surrounded by peaceful nature, privacy and the feeling of having your own hidden piece of the island.

The property runs on solar power and rainwater catchment and is home to tropical gardens, a peaceful pond and our horses, Spirit and Mana, whose roots trace back to Hawaiʻi’s legendary Waipiʻo Valley. Their presence gives the land a spirit and sense of place that guests feel from the moment they arrive.

This is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to experience. At the heart of the property sits a private island used for fire dancing and flow arts, bringing the jungle to life after dark. Coming soon, a stargazing observation deck with a powerful telescope will offer guests an unforgettable view of Hawaiʻi’s night sky from the quiet of the jungle.

The vision continues to grow, with future plans for expanded food gardens, a thriving food forest, animals, glamping retreats and thoughtfully created spaces where people can slow down, reconnect and experience a more intentional way of living.

Every stay becomes part of the journey—helping this once-raw jungle become a self-sustaining homestead, a one-of-a-kind island escape and the dream I am still building.
